earwigs & wax

I’ve been busy cooking up some new ideas over the past 8 months which has resulted on earwigs & wax being on a minor hiatus. During this time we’ve received hundreds of thousands of visitors and so many emails that we had to close our email account. It’s clear that the little ones are still hungry - too fearful to wean from the teet of the earwigs & wax breast and fend for themselves in the scary world out there. Fear not young grasshoppers, we’re back with a vengeance.

The good and bad news is that I’ve joined the ranks of the recently unemployed. The decision, however, was mine. I’m headed to Africa for 3 ½ months to do some volunteering with an HIV/AIDS group, backpacking in Egypt and Morocco and – most importantly – booty jiggling. Off I go to the land of Haile Selassie and Lucy. You guessed it, Ethiopia. There’s bound to be some bassline goodness from the ancestral roots of Bob Marley and, my guilty pleasure, Chaka Demus & Pliers. I’ll keep you all posted all my findings.

With the additional free time I’m planning on revamping the site with a fresh new look on a new engine. We’re likely to say goodbye to Wordpress and bonjour to ExpressionEngine. If you don’t know what this means then just look forward to some added functionality, flexibility and straight up funk. Feel free to make suggestions by commenting.
