We got a new face!
We’ll my friends, it’s finally here. We’re both happy and proud to announce the launch of the fresh-out-the-cooker earwigs & wax! It’s been just under a year since we kicked off earwigs & wax as a music blog. Thanks to the steady support from both our contributing artists and readers, we were able to launch this new and exciting site. Along with a sleek new look, earwigs & wax now comes loaded with a couple new features:
- New authors: We’re happy to welcome Black Poupon and Solly to the earwigs & wax team! Look forward to their words of wisdom.
- New look: We spent some time cooking up this theme, which we feel is clean and intuitive. We welcome your feedback.
- Featured articles: Select articles will be tagged ‘Featured’, and appear as sticky on the top of the homepage irrespective of their date. You can pick them out by their unique image presentation. You may browse these articles by their poster image by clicking ‘Featured’ at the top of the page.
- Newsletter: Be the first to get exclusive content when it drops on earwigs & wax. We’ll also be running special promos and contests specifically for newsletter members. We do not share your contact information. (coming soon!)
- Audio player: Music can now be streamed directly off earwigs & wax using the flash MP3 players embedded in the posts. Don’t waste your time and space downloading before you try!
- Videos: YouTube and Google videos will stream from the video widget on the right of the page.
- Gravatar: Globally Recognized Avatars (Gravatars) are those little images that show up next to your comments on the blog. Get yours for free at Gravatar.
All the timeless goodness from the previous is available at the earwigs & wax OG.
